The CHAPERONE Infant Car Seat is ideal for parents concerned with providing proper safety and posture-support for their children during car rides. Offering True Side Impact Protection, this seat delivers superior protection if you happen to face an unexpected side-impact accident.
If such an event takes place, the solid head support and deep, side walls work efficiently to distribute crash forces and keep your child shielded and contained. The seat's design also helps the head, neck, and spine stay properly aligned, keeping your child in a comfortable, safe posture during impact.
For additional safety, the built-in anti-rebound bar stabilizes the car seat by minimizing forces that can rotate the car seat during impact. The energy-absorbing foam liner provides additional support and distributes crash forces away from your child.
Superior Comfort and Fit
For growing babies, the tangle-free, five-point harness offers seven harness heights and two buckle positions for a snug, custom fit. The CHAPERONE Infant Car Seat features a plush, premium cover set with matching belly pad, while the underlying comfort foam provides support for your child's body. The car seat includes an extra-large canopy that blocks wind, rain, and harmful UV rays from your baby's sensitive skin. These features make for a comfortable ride, even during long car trips.
Easy-to-Install and Adjust
With lower LATCH connectors, compatible with most current vehicles, the CHAPERONE Infant Car Seat allows for quick, easy installation. The premium, push-button system provides a tight, secure fit and makes it simple to install or remove. The built-in lock-off feature secures your vehicle's safety belt so that the car seat does not move more than one inch side-to-side or front-to-back at the belt path, while the easy-to-read level indicators guide you to the proper angle of recline.
The quick-adjust head restraint and no-rethread harness allow you to easily adjust the harness system without the need to rethread the entire harness--a valuable time saving feature. Plus, with the recline-adjustment knob you can quickly adjust the height of the base for proper seat angle and positioning.
Compatible with Strollers and Ergonomic Design
With convenience and comfort in mind, the CHAPERONE Infant Car Seat is compatible with BRITAX strollers including the B-READY, B-SCENE, B-NIMBLE, and CHAPERONE to form a travel system. It can also be used with other major strollers when used with the Britax Adapter Strap Kit. The car seat's handle is ergonomically designed and contours to your forearm and body so you can carry your baby in the CHAPERONE with ease.
